The Banks Foundation

The Foundation provides downpayment assistance only to persons meeting the following requirements:

· Have received public housing or Section 8 assistance in the past
· Have entered into and completed an Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) contract or similar agreement
· Income is less than 80% of the area median income
· Has qualified for a home loan

All grantee applications require a copy of the FSS contract or similar agreement and completed mortgage loan application. If you meet the above qualifications, please feel free to contact us or apply for assistance below.  Please allow a minimum of 10 business days processing time for each grant application.
